Obituary of LLoyd Richards

RICHARDS, LLOYD. Passed away peacefully at the Sault Area Hospital on Thursday August 14th. 2014 at the age of 97. Beloved husband of the late Jessie Richards. Lloyd will be greatly missed by his niece and nephew, Wilda and Jerry Ryckman, with whom he (and Jessie) shared a special friendship with for many years. Lloyd will be missed by several other nieces and nephews. Geraldine Hall of Kingston, Nova Scotia and Carmel Hall of St. Thomas, Ontario are his two surviving sisters-in-law. Lloyd will be sadly missed by Dave Leveille, his "adopted son," friend and neighbour. We thank you Dave for your countless acts of service, and your "unique" affection for Lloyd over the last many years. We know how much Lloyd will be missed by all his Goulais friends who shared daily meals with him at the Zone (Northwinds Restaurant), who drove him there for meals and brought meals into his home. We appreciate all the staff at the Zone who loved him, teased him and served him with great kindness over the years since Jessie's death in 2001. A special thank you to Effron, Cheryl and Lolita for your loving care.
