Passed away peacefully at Extendicare Maple View Nursing Home with family by her side on Wednesday, November 5, 2014 at the age of 83. Beloved wife of the late William "Bill" Gyde . Loving mother of Nancy White (Randy), Don Gyde and Kathy Guenette (Ray). Proud grandmother of Jason (Chelsea), Craig, Erin (Jeremy), Jessica, William, Nicholas, Steven and David . Sister of the late Gordon Currie (late Margaret), Margaret Caple (late Bob) and the late Mae McCracken (late Austin). Friends may call at Northwood Funeral Home Cremation and Reception Centre (942 Great Northern Road 705-945-7758) on Saturday, November 8, 2014 from 10:00 a.m. until time of funeral service in the Chapel at 11:30 a.m. with Rev. David Zub officiating. Interment at Greenwood Cemetery. Memorial donations to the Alzheimer Society or Canadian Cancer Society would be appreciated. The family would like to thank the staff of Maple View and Van Daele for their compassionate care of Donna over the years.
