Obituary of Eldur Jalak

Eldur passed away peacefully with his wife by his side until the end. He was surrounded by love and can now rest with his late father Oskar, mother Melanea, brother Heino and other special family and friends who have passed on. He will be missed by many; his devoted wife Nuala Therese (Daly) for 44 years, precious son Michael John Jalak and his wife Pamela Jalak (Constable) and three caring grandsons - Mitchell, Andrew and Kieran, his brothers and sisters Valve Meerits, Arvo Jalak and Elvie Thurston, as well as his many sister and brother-in-laws; cousins and countless special nieces,nephews and friends. Eldur's journey started in Saaremaa, Estonia and his travels brought him to Canada. His life was filled with many great adventures and he lived life to the fullest. Even when his health was challenged, Eldur exuded positivity and possessed an inner strength that will live on forever in all who knew him. Words cannot express the family's gratitude for the care and respect he received while living at the FJ Davey Home; Eldur accepted his new home and acknowledged the care and respect he received. A private family service will be held. Memorial donations to the MS Society would be appreciated by the family.
