Obituary of Harvey Weir

WEIR, Harvey- Peacefully at ARCH with his family by his side on Wednesday, December 24, 2014 at the age of 45. Beloved husband and best friend of Michelle for 19 years. Loving and proud father of Alex and Emily. Son of Sharon O'Neil and the late Harvey Weir (Pauline). Dear brother to Sherry Bergamin (Paul), Sheila Foley (Scott) and Cindy Cole. Son in-law of Jean-Louis and Lois Lemieux. Brother-in-law of Laurianne Lavoie (Stephane), Dan Lemieux (Janet), Andre Lemieux (Mandy) and Joe Lemieux (Yvonne). He is much loved by his many nieces and nephews. He will be fondly remembered by many aunts, uncles, cousins, friends and Fred Charette. Harvey lived life to the fullest with a smile on his face and a positive attitude. He was always willing to lend a helping hand. He enjoyed camping with his family and will be missed by many camping friends. Harvey was a dedicated worker at Essar Steel. He was a well-respected and well known business man for many years at Action Auto Parts. Friends may call at Northwood Funeral Home Cremation and Reception Centre (942 Great Northern Road 705-945-7758) on Monday evening from 6:00 p.m. to 9:00 p.m. A funeral mass will be celebrated at St. Gregory's Church on Tuesday, December 30, 2014 at 11:00 a.m. with Father Ignatius Xavier officiating. Memorial donations to A.R.C.H or "Michelle Weir" for the trust fund of Alex and Emily Weir would be appreciated by the family.
