Obituary of Richard Reed

Passed away unexpectedly at home on Saturday, January 3, 2015 at the age of 73. Beloved husband of Arla for over 47 years. Brother of the late Joseph (Rita), William, late Isabel King (late Cliff), late Peter (Audrey), Judy Rutledge (Robbie) and Carol Naphan (Paul). Brother-in-law of Marva Deacon. Uncle to many nieces and nephews and their children. He will be missed by his dog Annie. Richard was a 30 year employee of Algoma Steel and sold beef cattle and hay for many years. Friends may call at the Northwood Funeral Home Cremation and Reception Centre (942 Great Northern Road 705-945-7758) on Friday, January 9, 2015 from 11:00 a.m. until time of memorial service in the Chapel at 1:00 p.m. with Mrs. Helen Smith officiating. Interment at Greenwood Cemetery. In lieu of flowers, memorial donations to the SAH Cancer Care Fund, Sault Ste. Marie Humane Society or T.A.A.G. would be appreciated by the family.
