Obituary of Antonio Genua

GENUA, Antonio - Peacefully, at the Sault Area Hospital on Thursday, January 8, 2015 at the age of 85. Beloved husband of the late Maria (Martone) and the late Angelina (Nitri) Genua. Dear father of Tommasina (Robert), Gino (Paula), Joe (Robin), Maria, Geraldina (Dean) and Rosetta (Neil). Nono of Adrianna, Jason, Brian, Isabella, Alysse, Bianca, Felicia, Elizabeth, Olivia and Dean Antonio. He was very proud of each and every one of his children and grandchildren. Son of the late Gennaro and Tommasina Genua. Brother of Felecina (Geraldo), Teresa (Angelo), Giovanni (Migalina), Yolanda (Atillio), Michele (Rosa), Lydia (late Americo) and Rosina (Mario). Antonio will be missed by many nieces, nephews, cousins, brothers and sisters-in-law from Canada, United States and Italy. Tony will be fondly remembered for his life tellings, especially those from his childhood days in Italy and his travels to Canada to create a better life for his family. We will greatly miss him but will keep his love deep within our hearts till we meet again. Friends may call at Northwood Funeral Home Cremation and Reception Centre (942 Great Northern Road 705-945-7758) on Tuesday, January 13, 2015 from 11:00 a.m. until time of funeral service in the Chapel at 2:00 p.m. Entombment at Holy Sepulchre Cemetery Mausoleum. Memorial donations to ARCH would be appreciated by the family. A heartfelt thank you to the physicians, nurses, staff of ICU, 3C and Urology units of the SAH.
