Obituary of Francesco Calvelli

Passed away peacefully at the Sault Area Hospital on Sunday, January 25, 2015 at the age of 79. Devoted and loving husband of Helen Calvelli for 47 years. Adored father of Connie Rescigno (Francesco) and Nicholas Calvelli (Jenn). Nonno Frank to Marco and Emily Rescigno and Nonno to Lucas and Danica Calvelli. Predeceased by his parents Nicola and Concetta Calvelli. Dear brother of the late Fiorina Costanzo (late Antonio), late Elvira Curcio (late Angelo), Anna Nardi, and Virginia Muti (Rocco) of Italy. Son-in-law of the late Steve and Mary Bulat. Brother-in-law of Dr. Robert Bulat (Sue) of New Orleans, Louisiana and the late Diane Marie Bulat. Special friend of Mark Zuccato. He will be missed by his nieces, nephews. Frank was a proud, long time member of the Club Calabrese choir as well as the Our Lady of Good Counsel choir. Friends and Family are invited to visit at Northwood Funeral Home Cremation & Reception Centre (942 Great Northern Road 705-945-7758) on Tuesday, January 27, 2015 from 11:00 a.m. until time of funeral service in the chapel at 1:00 p.m. with Father Ignatius Xavier officiating. In lieu of flowers memorial donations to Breaking Away, SAH Oncology unit, or SAH Renal Dialysis unit would be appreciated by the family.
