Obituary of Heino Kallio

Peacefully at the SAH on Saturday, January 31, 2015 at the age of 94. Beloved husband of the late Eva Kallio. Loving father of Linda Kallio (Marcus Opitz), Lilian Vetrie (late Guy) and Norman Kallio (Leslie Wight). Proud Vaari of Marina, Teija, Kirstin, Ryan and great Vaari of Hope. Lovingly remembered by his cousin the late Lily Whyte and her family, his nieces Susan Asunmaa and Laurie Jokelainen (Bob and Elisa) and many other family and friends. Heino was a proud Finnish War Veteran and enjoyed his life to the end. A private family service will be held at a later date. Memorial donations to the Ontario Finnish Rest Home Uusi Koti New Building Fund would be appreciated by the family. Much appreciation and many thanks for the excellent care given by Dr. Catania, Lori Rose and all the staff at Kotitalo at the Ontario Finnish Rest Home and the staff at SAH.
