Passed away peacefully at the SAH on Saturday, January 31, 2015 at the age of 72. Dear husband of Barbara for 47 years. Loving father of Richard (Robyn) and Steve (Jennifer). Cherished grandpa of Madison, Emma, James, Amber, John and Morgan. Brother of the late Brian Cook (Dora) and the late Elizabeth Armstrong (Doug). Brother-in-law of Ruth Kernaghan (Dan) and Bill Brayley (late Louise). Fond memories will be treasured by his many nieces and nephews. Lonnie worked at the Steel Plant for over 30 years and was an avid fisherman and hunter. Friends may visit at Northwood Funeral Home Cremation and Reception Centre (942 Great Northern Road 705-945-7758) on Thursday, February 5, 2015 from 11:00 a.m. until time of funeral service in the Chapel at 1:00 p.m. Memorial donations to the Group Health Centre or the Sault Area Hospital would be appreciated by the family.
