Obituary of Giuseppe Martella

Peacefully passed away with family by his side at the Sault Area Hospital on Tuesday, February 3, 2015 at the age of 86 . Loving husband of Angela for 62 years. Dear father of Maria Perra (Sandro) and the late Cosmo Martella. Cherished Nonno of Luigi Perra (Asta), Roberto Perra (Carrie) and Giancarlo Perra, Zoe and Aiden Martella. Great grandfather of Thomas. Son of the late Cosmo and Maria Martella. Brother of the late Gennaro (Martha), Giovanna DeCesare (late Angelo), late Christina Carlascio (late Felix), Pasquale (Rose) of Australia, Nicola (Nicolina) of Cleveland and Domenico (Maria). Brother-in-law of the late Maria Colossa (late Carmine), late Rocco Midea (late Maria), Michelina Fargiorgio (Giuseppe) and Filice Midea (Luisa). Giuseppe (the little old man on Black Road) will be missed by many special nieces, nephews, cousins and friends. Friends may visit at Northwood Funeral Home Cremation and Reception Centre (942 Great Northern Road 705-945-7758) on Friday evening from 5:00 p.m. to 8:00 p.m. Funeral mass at St. Jerome Church on Saturday, February 7, 2015 at 10:00 a.m. with Rev. Ron Ambeault officiating. Entombment at Holy Sepulchre Cemetery Mausoleum. Memorial donations to the Heart and Stoke Foundation or SAH Cancer Care Fund would be appreciated by the family.
