Passed away peacefully on Saturday March 14, 2015 at the Sault Area Hospital in his 87th year. Vincenzo has gone to his final resting place to be reunited with his beloved wife Teresina (Borrelli) of 58 years and with the Lord our Saviour. Predeceased by his parents Francesco and Rosa Aloe. Survived by his sister Maria DeLuca (late Carlo) of Hamilton. Predeceased by brothers Pasquale Aloe (Marietta), Domenico Favorito (Maria), and sisters Chiarina Caruso (late Alfredo) and Domenica Mastroianni (late Michele). Brother-in-law of the late Annina Trecroce (late Carmine), Erminia Sacco (Francesco), Vincenzo Borrelli of Sault Ste. Marie, late Rosina Pasqua (late Saverio) of Ottawa, Angelina Benincasa (Giuseppe) of Peterborough, Rita Minardi (lateTito) and Assunta Vizza (Pietro) of Cellara, Cosenza Italy, late Marietta De Cicco (late Luigi) and brothers late Giovanni Borrelli (late Rosina), late Michele Borrelli (late Isabella), late Giuseppe Borrelli and late Gaspare Borrelli (Rosina). Cherished uncle to Maria Chiarello (Anselmo) and great uncle to Laura Chiarello-Palmer (Brad). Special uncle who will be missed by numerous nieces and nephews, great nieces and great nephews in Sault Ste. Marie, Hamilton, Peterborough, Ottawa, Toronto and Italy. The family would also like to acknowledge and thank the F.J. Davey Home 2nd Floor Driftwood Beach, for the care given to zio Vincenzo over the years. Friends may call at Northwood Funeral Home Cremation and Reception Centre (942 Great Northern Road 945-7758) on Monday morning March 23, 2015 from 10 a.m. to 11:00 a.m. followed by a funeral mass at St. Veronica's Church at 12 noon with Reverend Ron Ambeault officiating. Entombment at Holy Sepulchre Cemetery Mausoleum. At Vincenzo's request, flowers are gratefully declined. In lieu of flowers, memorial donations to the Canadian Diabetes Association or Heart and Stroke Foundation would be appreciated by the family.
