IANNI, Andrea Amedeo - Passed away peacefully on Saturday, March 21, 2015 at Extendicare Maple View Nursing Home in this 100th year. Beloved husband for 71 years, of Rachela Ianni (Milito). Cherished father of Nella Kirby, Frank Ianni (Mary), Jane Forget (Larry) and Laura Sobiesiak (Rick). Loving Nonno of Michael Ianni (Amy), Jennifer Coutu (Dan), Julie Magill (Kevin), Rachelle Forget, Gerald Forget, Julia Sobiesiak and Andrea Sobiesiak, Dear Bisnonno of Ella, Leah, and Colin Ianni, Madeline, Griffin and Isla Coutu, and Cameron Magill. Predeceased by his brother and sisters, Joseph Ianni (Marianna), Ida Buffone (Francesco), Marianna Fatalivia and Lucia Paradiso (Francesco). Brother-in-law of Alfieri Milito (Nella) and Elsa Caicco (Mario). Amedeo started his apprenticeship as a tailor at the age of ten in Italy, came to Canada and became a Master Tailor and suited many of the residents of Sault Ste. Marie. Friends and family may call at Northwood Funeral Home Cremation and Reception Centre (942 Great Northern Road 705-945-7758) on Monday, March 23, 2015 from 5:00 p.m. until 8:00 p.m. Funeral Mass to be celebrated on Tuesday at St. Gerard Majella Church at 2:00 p.m. with Father Francis Ezenezi officiating. Memorial donations to the Maple View Resident's Council or SAH Geriatric Clinic would be appreciated by the family.
