Obituary of Lucy Berry

BERRY, Lucy Mary - Passed away peacefully at the Sault Area Hospital on Thursday, April 9, 2015 at the age of 97. Beloved wife of the late William "Bill" Berry. Loving mother of Wayne Berry (Karon) of Corunna, Ontario. Loving grandma of Elizabeth Peloza (Matthew) of London, Ontario. Great grandmother of James, Lillian and Elliot Peloza of London, Ontario. Dear aunt to Linda Symboluk (Harry), Cara Russon of Sault Ste. Marie, and Bobby Russon of Windsor, Ontario. She had a special place in her heart for Paula and Pedro Antunes, (children Vera and Matias) and Martin Cypas. Special friend to Mary Ryckman, Peter and Marilyn Cypas, Dennis Morley, Mabel Lewis of Sault Ste. Marie and Rodney and Debbie Nisbett. Predeceased by her parents George and Mary Whitaker. Sister of Mable Gates (late Allan), late Roy, late Art (late Marie), late Allan (late Doris) all of New Brunswick, late Bernard Whitaker (late Helen) of Sault Ste. Marie, Gertie Lubawski (late Tony) of Streetsville, Ontario and the late Alfred (late Margaret), late Ellen Frost (late Alfred), late Grace Arnburg (late Arthur) and late Bert (late Agnes) all of New Brunswick. Lucy will be missed by her many nieces, nephews and extended family. She enjoyed her time spent with Major John and Shellie Kirschman and her church family at the Salvation Army. At Lucy's request no funeral services will take place. Interment will be held in St. John, New Brunswick. Memorial donations to the Salvation Army or ARCH would be appreciated by the family.
