Obituary of Carmela Taranto

TARANTO, Carmela -It is with broken hearts that we announce the peaceful passing of our dear mother on Monday, June 8, 2015 (the birth date of her late husband Mario Taranto) at the Sault Area Hospital at the age of 73. Predeceased by her husband Mario Taranto. Loving mother of Sam (Leanne), Roberto (Diana) and Anna Carpinelli (Chris). Loving Nonna of Carmela, Samantha, Tiana, Sonia and Mario. Foundly remembered by JoAnn Taranto. Loving sister of the late Giovanni Sicoli (Maria), late Peppe Sicoli (Ines) of Milano, Italy, late Francesco Sicoli of France, Salvatore Sicoli (late Ada), late Antonio Sicoli (Teresa), Rosaria Trunzo (late Mario) of Winnipeg, late Teresa Falsetto (Scipione) of Cleto, Italy, Ortenzio Sicoli (Carla), late Giaconda Iacoboni (Serafino) (Dora) and Silvana Anderson (Allan). Sister-in-law to Gisberto, Anna Maria Gallo (Tony), Tony and Francesco (Louisa). Carmela will be missed by her many nieces, nephews, friends and neighbours. Friends may call at Northwood Funeral Home Cremation and Reception Centre on Thursday evening from 5:00 to 8:00 p.m. Funeral mass will be held at St. Veronica's Church on Friday, June 12, 2015 at 10:00 a.m. with Reverend Ron Ambeault officiating.
