Obituary of Charles Masters

It is with heavy hearts that we announce the passing of Charles Wesley (Wes) Masters. Born August 25, 1934 to Reginald and Irma Masters, son-in-law to Albert and Yvette LaBerge (all deceased). Wes is survived by his wife Carmel, his faithful companion of 63 years. Predeceased by infant daughter Sarah and son Alan (Becky). He will be sorely missed by children Les (Shelley), Barb King (Bruce), Sandy Antonello (Dave), Reg (Candy), Rebekah Doyan (Jason). There couldn't have been a Papa more proud of all nine grandchildren. His love and affection will be missed by Andrew, Tessah, Wesley, Bryan, Tamar, Tarah, Jennifer, Holly and Cody. Brother to Ernie (Bev), Bob (Cheryl), Angeline (Gary), Hugh, Don (Vena), Harry (Lois), Florence (Jack), Ted (Mary-Ann), Nancy (John), and Lynne (Barry). Brother-in-law to Ted (Lynn), John (Jeannie), Barbara (Todd), Fred (Rose) and Yvonne (Wayne). Wes will be fondly remembered by his many nieces, nephews, cousins, aunts and uncles. Wes passed away peacefully on Saturday, June 13, 2015 at the Sault Area Hospital, with his family by his side. The family wishes to thankfully recognize the kind support of the hospital medical staff, especially the loving nurses of 2C and 3C. We will never forget the kindness shown. A memorial service will be held Tuesday, June 16, 2015 at 7:00 p.m. at the Kingdom Hall of Jehovah's Witnesses, 742 Third Line, East, Sault Ste. Marie, Ontario. Raymond Gilchrist officiating. All are welcome. In lieu of flowers, donations will be welcome to the Watchtower Bible and Tract Society as well as the Sault Area Hospital, Complex Care Unit. Arrangements entrusted to Northwood Funeral Home Cremation and Reception Centre (942 Great Northern Road, 705-945-7758). .
