SHAMI, Nicholas - Passed away peacefully, surrounded by the love of his family on Tuesday, June 30, 2015 at the age of 97. Nicholas is now reunited with his dear wife Irene (Valade, Masse). Loving step-father of Rose- Marie Valade, Nicole McLarty (Barry), Marcel Valade (Fran), and Madeleine Jobb (Kevin). Cherished Grandfather of Natalie and Emélie Rahilly, Laura McLarty (Ryan), Anthony Valade, and Samantha and Jonathon Jobb. Great Grandfather of Cameron Pearse. Predeceased by his parents Mary Poma and George Shami, and sibliings Michael, Peter (Nellie), Sister St. Paul "Vicky", Fred (Rollie), Paul (Monica), Sophie Pirano (Peter) and Andrew (Dorothy). Brother-in-law of Joan (late Leo Masse). He will be missed by many nieces, nephews and special friends. Funeral details will be announced at a later date. Memorial donations to ARCH would be appreciated by the family. A special thank you to the doctors and nurses at the Sault Area Hospital of ICU and Emerg for their care and compassion.
