Please share a memory of Ronald to include in a keepsake book for family and friends.
CHARRON, Ronald- Peacefully passed away at the Sault Area Hospital with his family by his side on Saturday, July 11, 2015 at the age of 69. Beloved and cherished husband of Patricia (Lothrop) for 26 years. Son of Alice and the late Rudy Charron. Dear brother of Paulette Pittenger (Larry) and Rochelle Raeber (Bruno). Son-in-law of the late William and Mary Lothrop. Brother-in-law to Donald Lothrop, Eddie Lothrop (Bernadette), Darlene Hayward (Hayward), Bunny Lidstone (John), the late Sharon Lothrop, Geradine Guise (Lucien), Mildred Wood (Charlence), Barbara Walls (Kenneth), Stephen Lothrop (Peggy), late Robert Lothrop, Mary Dunster (Kenny), Susan Lothrop, Donna Sutherland (Earl), Billie Lothrop and Michael Lothrop. He is the beloved uncle of several nieces and nephews. Ron will be remembered by his many cousins, his Godmother Jeanne Paradis and his Godchild Dawn Couturier. He worked at Essar Steel for 35 years. He loved his wife's cooking, almost too much. He enjoyed watching movies, relaxing outdoors on his swing, travel when he could and most of all he loved people. Ron was a very spiritual man, if you needed a prayer said for you, he did it. He would do anything you asked of him, no questions asked. He will be greatly missed by all those who knew him, especially Pat and their furry family members Angel, Snoopy, Sweetpea and Honey. At Ron's request there will be no funeral services. A mass will be held in his honour at a later date at Holy Family Parish. In lieu of flowers, he has requested donations be made to the Canadian Diabetes Association, Canadian Cancer Society, ARCH or the Sault Ste. Marie Humane Society. A special thank you to the staff at the SAH-3B for the care and compassion shown to Ron and our family. Arrangements entrusted to Northwood Funeral Home Cremation and Reception Centre (942 Great Northern Road 705-945-7758). www.northwoodfuneral.com
