Obituary of Armando Gerbone

Born in Donnici Superiore Provincia di Cosenza on November 19, 1927. Passed away peacefully at the Sault Area Hospital with his loving family by his side on Tuesday, September 8, 2015 in his 88th year. He will be sadly and deeply missed by his loving wife Carolina (nee Bisceglia) of 56 years. Loving father of Erminia Gerbone and Franca Chiarello (Eugene). Predeceased by his parents Erminia Maida and Michele Gerbone. Brother of the late Chesira Gigliotti (late Anzelmo), late Rita Chilelli (Battista), Ada Celentano (late Tony), Franca Zingone (Mario) and Aldo Gerbone (Rina). Brother-in-law of Savario Bisceglia and late sister-in-law Giuseppina Bagnato. Loving uncle of the late Claudio Bagnado (Fabiola and family), Michael Zingone, Daniele Zingone, Marisa Celendano, late Franco Celendano, Luigi Gigliotti, Giancarolo Gigliotti, Mario and Tonino Chilelli, Susan, Christina, and Michael Gerbone. Armando will be remembered for his great love and devotion to his immediate and extended family. He will be fondly remembered for his honesty, generosity and and his friendly smile. Friends are invited to visit at Northwood Funeral Home Cremation and Reception Centre (942 Great Northern Road 705-945-7758) on Friday, September 11, 2015 from 10:30 a.m. to 12:30 p.m. Funeral Mass to follow at St. Gregory's Church at 1:00 p.m. with Father Alex Saurianthadathil officiating. Entombment at Holy Sepulchre Cemetery Mausoleum. Memorial donations to the Heart & Stroke Foundation or the Alzheimer Society would be appreciated by the family.
