Surrounded by his family at the Sault Area Hospital on Monday, September 21, 2015 at the age of 82. Loving husband and best friend of Elizabeth for 53 years. Special father to Angela Dunbar (Rick), Susan Moeller (Peter) and Shelley Westmorland (Mike). Devoted grandfather to Cheryl (Darrin), John (Alicia), Evan, Faye (Nick), Gary (Katja), Joshua (Kim), Rebecca (Ian), Melanie, William; and great grandfather to 3. A Celebration of John's Life will be held at Grand Gardens North on Friday, October 2, 2015 from 5:00 p.m. to 9:00 p.m. In lieu of flowers, memorial donations to the Sault Area Hospital Foundation would be appreciated by the family. A special thank you to the wonderful, caring staff of SAH-ICU.
