Obituary of Rita D'Agostini

It is with deep sadness that we announce the passing of Rita D'Agostini on Tuesday, September 22, 2015 in her 89th year. She is now reunited with her beloved husband Ledo of 66 years. Dearly loved Mother of Angie Green (Rick), John (Rosemary) and Vincent (Anne). Cherished grandmother of Deborah Olson (Marcus), Jason (Kim), Marnie Steiro (Tim), Jacob (Molly), Matthew (ToniLynn) and Anthony and precious Great Grandmother of Grace and Madix Olson, Lucca D'Agostini, Conner and Julianna Steiro. Predeceased by her parents Mary and Vincent Orlando. Sister of the late Agatha Caruso (late Mike), late Gilda Drago (late Guy), late Rose Deluco (late Charlie), late Dora Greco (late Frank), late Eda Aiello (late Tony), late Amadeo Orlando (late Violet), late Evelyn Mancuso (Joseph), late Vera Fabbro (late Albis) and Joseph Orlando (Anne). Predeceased by her in-laws John and Angela D'Agostini. Sister-in-law of the late Erma Dupuis (late Paul) and the late Gino (Velma). Friends may call at Northwood Funeral Home Cremation and Reception Centre (942 Great Northern Road 705-945-7758) on Thursday, September 24, 2015 from 11:00 a.m. until time of the funeral service in the Chapel at 2:00 p.m. Entombment at Holy Sepulchre Cemetery Mausoleum. Memorial donations in lieu of flowers to Canadian Red Cross ASSISTED LIVING PROGRAM or ARCH would be appreciated by the family. Sincere gratitude and appreciation to the angels from Canadian Red Cross ASSISTED LIVING who cared for Mom like she was their own family. This past year you helped Mom through her grief and gave her reason to face each day. Also to the staff in Emergency, especially Justine and Lori S. and 3C, David, Trevor, Erica, Sheldon, Anna, Matt and Dr. Jim. Such an amazing team of workers. May God bless your days and thank you.
