Obituary of Edwin Schaefer

Peacefully, surrounded by his family at the Sault Area Hospital on Wednesday, October 14, 2015 at the age of 85. Predeceased by his wife Anne. Loving father of Emily Schaffer (Rick), Patty Schaefer (Don Villeneuve), Anthony "Tony" Schaefer, Madeline Schaefer (Doug Carpenter) and Lori Ivey (Winston). Cherished Papa of Andrea (Mike Bailey) and Matthew Schaffer (Riley), Adri, Rachel, Anthony, Sam and Tori Ivey. Great grandfather of Taya and Gavin. Brother of the late Madeline Camirand (late Alex). Brother-in-law of Carmel DiPietro (Nick). Uncle Eddie to Anne Marie Dodds (Tom), Annamarie Tucci (Claudio), Michael, John and Paul DiPietro and Nikki DiPietro (Mike Donaldson). Friends are invited to visit at Northwood Funeral Home Cremation and Reception Centre (942 Great Northern Road 705-945-7758) on Friday evening from 6:00 p.m. to 9:00 p.m. Funeral Mass at Precious Blood Cathedral on Saturday, October 17, 2015 at 10:00 a.m. with Father Hamish Currie officiating. Interment at Holy Sepulchre Cemetery. Memorial donations to SAH-Foundation would be appreciated by the family.
