From there, he joined the Royal Canadian Navy where he served for ten years in Technical Training in weapon control systems and radar as well as a Petty Officer in charge of weapons systems maintenance on board destroyers with two years of service at the National Defense Headquarters in Ottawa. Harry's calming nature, his sage wisdom and his strong belief in the potential of Aboriginal people, and businesses generally, will be greatly missed in the networks that he worked within so passionately. Everyone who knew Harry remarked on the great love he often expressed for his wife, his children, and his grandchildren. As a very respected Elder-Statesman, Harry will truly be missed.
