Obituary of Benita Antonello

On Sunday, November 22, 2015, Bunny passed away peacefully at Extendicare Van Daele at the age of 82. She is now reunited with the Gallagher family and her loving husband Enzo. Cherished and devoted mother and mother-in-law of Joe and Mary Kay, Margie and Ron Koprash, Paul and Debbie. Many happy memories were made by Gramma Bunny with her grandchildren Don (Pam), Tom (Erin), Jamie (Kristina), Beth (Sam), Connor and Blake Antonello, Megan Monahan, Megan (Matt) and Mathew Koprash (Melissa). Adored G.G. of Alexa and Reed Antonello. Survived by her sisters-in-law Jean Gallagher (late Robert "Bud") and Marie Antonello (late Bruno). Predeceased by her twin sister June Nanne (Terry), her siblings John Gallagher (Martha), Monica Barbeau (Lloyd), Arthur Gallagher (Frances), James Gallagher (Anne) and Donna Niemi (Leo, Ralph Barbeau), also predeceased by her sisters and brothers-in-law Lelia Zorzi (Eli) and Elsie Braido (Mario). She was Auntie Bunny to her many nieces and nephews. Family and friends are invited to visit at Northwood Funeral Home Cremation and Reception Centre (942 Great Northern Road 705-945-7758) on Wednesday, November 25, 2015 from 10:00 a.m. until time of funeral service in the Chapel at 11:30 a.m. Interment at Holy Sepulchre Cemetery. Memorial donations to Van Daele Residents' Council or the SAH Cancer Care Fund would be appreciated by the family. Our family cannot express enough thanks for the love, kindness, compassion and professionalism shown to our mother during her stay at Van Daele. Each and every staff member treated Bunny and our family with the utmost respect while helping her through her day to day challenges brought on by her illnesses. Thank you to the doctors and the amazing staff in the Radiation Bunker at SAH.
