Obituary of Maria Chiarello

"When you lose someone you love, you gain an Angel." It is with saddened hearts that we announce the sudden passing of Maria Chiarello in her 83rd year. Devoted wife and companion to the late Pasquale. She is survived by her loving children who were the world to her, Frank Chiarello (Anna), Lina Valente (Cosmo), Salvatore Chiarello (Connie) and Rose Drewitt (Paul). Adored daughter of the late Pasquale and Rosaria Pagnotta. Loved daughter-in-law of the late Francesco and Ursula Chiarello. Special nonna to Antoinetta Burzese (Gino), Joey Valente (Melissa), Maria McChesney (Gordie), Maria Huckson (Chris), Pat Chiarello (Ashley), Pasquale Chiarello, Laura Valente (Nana), Angel Ceglie (Danny), Kristina Chiarello (Jimmy), Katrina Foisy (Phil), Taylor Foisy (Cody) and Mercedes Drewitt. Great grandmother of 19. She will be missed by her brothers and sisters-in-law and will be remembered by her many nieces and nephews. Her love and devotion will always be remembered by her children. We would like to thank her dear friend Yolanda Bruni, who was there for her every day for companionship. Also for the wonderful care given from Care Partners and nurses. Family and friends may visit at Northwood Funeral Home Cremation and Reception Centre (942 Great Northern Road 705-945-7758) on Sunday evening from 6:00 p.m. to 9:00 p.m. Funeral mass will be held at Our Lady of Good Counsel Church on Monday, December 7, 2015 at 11:00 a.m. with Father Paul Conway officiating. Entombment at Holy Sepulchre Cemetery Mausoleum. In lieu of flowers, donations to the Alzheimer Society would be appreciated by the family.
