NARDINI, Joseph Alfio "NONO JOE" - June 15, 1933 - December 12, 2015 - It is with heavy hearts that we announce the passing of "NONO JOE". He was so grateful to God to be blessed with such a rich life surrounded by wonderful family and friends…. And of course, Bella. Always a smile….always a chuckle…. A devoted and loving husband to his wife, Zena (Del Colle) for 59 years. A dedicated and special father and father-in-law to Maria Medeiros (Joe) and Eda Johnson (Greg). A proud and precious Nono to Carli (Jay), Alana, Kayla (Matt) and Bryce (Rachel). Born to the late Eda and Ennio Nardini (Fano, Italy). Dear brother of Marino Nardini (Anna), late Emidio Nardini (Rosina) of Italy, Gianna Bardovagni (Remo) of Italy. Son-in-law of the late Italia and Nicola Del Colle. Loving brother-in-law of the late Mary Dominick (late Mike), Assunta "Tut" Slobedecki (late Eddie) and late Rita Roy (Gerard). Uncle of many special nieces and nephews. His memory warms our hearts and leaves a smile on our faces. Family and friends may visit at Northwood Funeral Home Cremation and Reception Centre (942 Great Northern Road 705-945-7758) on Wednesday evening from 6:00 p.m. to 8:00 p.m. Funeral mass will be held at St. Gregory's Church on Thursday, December 17, 2015 at 11:00 a.m. with Father Alex Saurianthadathil officiating. Memorial donations to St. Gregory's church would be appreciated by the family.
