Obituary of Doreen White

It is with deep sorrow and sadness that we announce the passing of our much loved Mother, Grandma and Great Grandma at the FJ Davey Home on December 20, 2015 at the age of 93. Daughter of the late William and Mabel Grasley of Portlock, ON. Loving mother of Marie Hietakangas (Raimo) of Vancouver, BC and Cheryle Finn (late Victor). Proud Grandmother of Leslie Charters of Vancouver, BC, Michelle Gamble (Troy) of London, ON and Tim Finn (Michelle). Dear Great Grandmother to Brett Gamble, Blake Gamble, Olivia Finn and Vanna Finn. Sister of Helen Wall (late Dan) of Victoria, BC, Frances Grasley, pre-deceased by Maynard Grasley (Lillian), Bernard Grasley (Cora). Special Aunt to many nieces and nephews. At Doreen's request there will be a private graveside inurnment at Cloudslee Cemetery at a later date. Memorial contributions to the FJ Davey Home Activity Group would be appreciated by the family. The family would like to thank the staff at the FJ Davey Home for their compassion and care, especially Apple 2 and the Palliative Care Unit.
