Please share a memory of Susan to include in a keepsake book for family and friends.
Suddenly at her home on Sunday, December 27, 2015 at the age of 65. Born in Thessalon, Ontario, November 16, 1950 to Gordon and Ruth Bradley. Susan married at a young age and was a stay at home mother to her eight daughters. After several years, Susan decided to go back to school and attain her high school diploma as well as some English and Accounting courses at Sault College. She was very proud of her accomplishments and in a career shift, took a position as a dispatcher for Erb Transport. Susan loved her job and was very dedicated to her work until her ailing health brought her to early retirement. In her last years of her life, mom slowed down a bit as she battled diabetes, dialysis and eventually a kidney transplant. Her children and grandchildren remained by her side through it all. Susan loved knitting, sewing, enjoyed reading and going to the casino and bingo with her friends. She had a beautiful singing voice and a wonderful smile that could light up a room. She had a huge heart and most recently busied herself with the knitting of precious gifts that she donated to charity to help those in need. Susan is preceded in death by her parents; Gordon and Ruth Bradley of Thessalon, Ontario. She is survived by her brothers Tommy, Raymond and Jimmy and her sisters Betty, Doreen, Bonnie, Lily and Dawna. She is also survived by her eight daughters; Theresa, Tammy (Gates), Debbie (Rob), Jackie (Jamie), Chantal (Terry), Lianne (Jeff), Joanne and Candace (Brian). There are several grandchildren who are going to miss Nana; Joshua, Justin, Jasmine, Rebecca, Daniel, Dylan, Sylvain, Madeline, Justice, Devon, Kaitlyn, Taylor, Talyn, Mackenzie, Nash, Sophia, Hannah and Olivia. She also had 8 great grandchildren. Family and friends are invited to visit at Northwood Funeral Home Cremation and Reception Centre (942 Great Northern Road 705-945-7758) on Wednesday evening from 5:00 p.m. until 8:00 p.m. Funeral mass will be held at St. Jerome Parish on Thursday, December 31, 2015 at 10:00 a.m. with Father Pat Woods officiating.
