Obituary of Carolyn Morrow

MORROW, Carolyn Jane (nee Court)- "To the people you mean the most to in the world, you are infinite." Taken from us all too soon, Carolyn found peace in the arms of loved ones on December 26, 2015 at the age of 74. Her courageous fight with cancer is over. Born December 27, 1940, Carolyn is predeceased by her parents Aubrey and Alice Court. She is survived by her husband and best friend Hugh Morrow of 57 years. Carolyn Jane was the love of his life from the moment he first saw her when she walked into the "Chicken Coop" at the age of 16. She was ever so proud of sons, Scott (Christine), Michael (Annette) and D'Arcy. Cherished Grammie of Derek, Krista (Nathan), Mitchell (Sara), Elysia (Dave), Jacob and Cooper. Great Grammie/ Nannie of Grace and Mason. Dear sister of Don (Diane), Richard (Barb), Joyce (Eustace), Ross (Pilvi), Arlene (John), Brian (Margie) and Danny. Special Auntie to all her nieces and nephews and their children, she was a second mom to many. Carolyn was a true and caring friend and her love touched the lives of all who knew her. It is her gift we are blessed to carry in our hearts. Family and friends are invited to visit at Northwood Funeral Home Cremation and Reception Centre (942 Great Northern Road 705-945-7758) on Saturday, January 2, 2016 from 12:00 noon until time of memorial service in the chapel at 1:00 p.m. with Reverend Helen Smith officiating. In Lieu of flowers, memorial donations to A.R.C.H or SAH Cancer Care would be appreciated by the family. The family wishes to thank the staff of SAH 3B and Oncology department and the Community Care Access Center nurses whose care made it possible for Carolyn to be home as long as she could. To the Staff and volunteers at A.R.C.H, words cannot convey our families heartfelt appreciation of the care, comfort and compassion you provided us all.
