Obituary of Irene Bradley

It is with deep sorrow and sadness that we announce the passing of our much loved Mother, Nanny (Grandma) and Great Grandma at the Sault Area Hospital on December 26, 2015, in her 95th year. Irene was the daughter of Bertie & Edith Cambray. Loving mother of sons Thomas (deceased) and Rod; daughters Ruth Brown (Carl), Carolene Coutu (Sheldon), Evelina Parr-Peterson. Grandmother of John Bradley (Amanda), Laura Genier (Guy Moison), Joel Genier, David Blum (Genevieve), Melissa Brown (Scott), Shelley Kling (Aaron), Kevin Coutu (Elizabeth), Heather O'Toole (Bryan), Sandra MacKinnon (Jeremy), Christina Coutu, Shawna Parr (Mike), Derek Parr (Brittany), Michael Peterson. Great Grandchildren Tierra, Rayna, Jonah, Zacharie, Ellia, Samuel, Savannaha, Scott, Henry, Gabriella, Spencer, Lincoln, Brandon, Matthew, Dylan. Survived by sister-in-law Mary Cambray. Predeceased by brothers Frank (Thelma), Allen (Maime) and Charlie; sisters Rita Holliday (Earl), Mary Fleming (Percy). Irene lived life to the fullest. She loved her family and her church. She was always the first to volunteer whenever anyone was in need of help. She loved to knit and made many mittens, hats, scarves, sweaters etc for both her family and people in the community in need. Irene will be missed by all! A service to honour and celebrate the life of Irene, will be held at Willowgrove United Church on Thursday, December 31st at 10am. Donations in Irene's memory may be made to Finnish Rest Home Association, Willowgrove United Church - Gifts & Memorials, or Sault Area Hospital Foundation. The family would like to thank the staff of the Finnish Rest Home - Kotitalo for the many wonderful years Irene lived there. Thank you to Dr. Cieffer and all of the staff in Emergency and 300B of the Sault Area Hospital who cared for Irene with compassion and dignity through her final days.
