Obituary of David Harding

HARDING, David James- Passed away suddenly, surrounded by the love of his family and was welcomed into the arms of his precious Saviour on December 28, 2015 at the age of 72. He is now basking in the love of His presence and enjoying the mansion he now resides in. David was born on July 10, 1943 in St. John New Brunswick, the eldest son of the late Jim and Jean Harding. David is survived by his beloved wife and best friend of 45 years, Candy Harding. He leaves his loving children, Trevor Harding (Samanda) and Tricia Harding (Darren), fun loving and adored Papa of Jesse, Ema, Noah and Owen. David also leaves his siblings Robert Harding (Aikiko), late Jane Cogswell, John Harding (Cathy) and Leroy Harding (Patty). He was a brother-in-law, uncle, and cousin to many relatives in both Sault Ste. Marie and Nova Scotia. He will be greatly missed by Doug and Marlene Ralph, Phil and Jackie Hemy and close friends at Bethel Bible Chapel and Sand Bay communities. Dave and Candy had retired to their beloved Sand Bay home on the shores of Lake Superior. He enjoyed spending beautiful days with his children, grandchildren and lifelong friends, cooking memorable meals served around the family table and skillfully working in his woodshop creating treasured family keepsakes. David will be forever missed and loved. Please say a prayer for us as we accept the ending of David's earthly life while rejoicing in his soul's heavenly journey.Family and friends are invited to visit at Bethel Bible Chapel (686 Black Road, Sault Ste. Marie) on Saturday January 2, 2016 from 1:00 p.m. until time of service at 2:00 p.m. with Peter Aceti officiating. In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions to the Arthritis Society or the Bethel Bible Chapel would be appreciated by the family.
