Obituary of Antonio Tremblay

TREMBLAY, Antonio (Toni) - Peacefully, at home surrounded by his family, on Monday, January 11, 2016 at the age of 82. Leaving behind his soulmate Marie Hélène (nee Boulianne) of 62 years. Il laisse ses enfantş bien aimé Marc (Claudia), Richard (Maria), Denise (Bill), Serge (Jennifer) and Nathalie (Ray). Also survived by 12 adored grandchildren Joel (Laurie), Luke (Victoria), Jonathan (Brook), Corey, Sylvan (Amanda), Stephen (Leah), Ryan (Abby), Michelle (Stéphane), Roxanne, Ginger, Dustin, Mathieu and great grandchildren Gabriel, Maeson, baby Beau and our newest arrival Everett. Il est précédé par ses parents Joseph Aimé et Alda Tremblay, et son frère Henri-Ulysse. Adoré de ses frères et soeurs Béatrice (late Raymond), Yvonne (late Daniel), Jean-Gilles (Monique) Paul-Aimé (Francine), Ludger (Claudette), Gertrude (Ghislain). He will be dearly missed by nieces, nephews and countless friends. Toni loved to entertain and socialize with many people, the more the merrier. His hobbies included storytelling, fishing, woodworking/carpentry and many more. His many years of blueberry picking with mom and so many friends made for fond memories. Toni had a knack for any task. No challenge was too small or too big…he figured out a solution. There was always a project on the go and a new one in the wings. His grandchildren were his pride and he lived every day looking forward to doing things with them. Friends are invited to a funeral mass at Paroisse Saint-Marie-du-Sault on Friday, January 15, 2016 at 12 noon with Père Jean-Pierre officiating. Memorial donations to Paroisse Saint-Marie-du-Sault would be appreciated by the family. Thank you to Dr. Bragaglia and Dr. Buehner for their care and compassion.
