It is with profound sadness that we announce the peaceful passing of our little warrior Taten, at ARCH on Tuesday, February 2, 2016 at the tender age of 10. Dearly loved son of Marnie Holditch (Jeremy) and James Hammerberg (Kate Allen). Cherished brother of Greer, Jake and Evan . Precious grandson of Wayne and Llona Sandie, Ken and Nancy Hammerberg, Kim and Dan Goodmurphy (Mariah Holditch), Dave and Wendy Holditch. Great grandson of Madge and the late Delbert Hill, Ellen and the late Ernie Trosvig and late Antoinette Hammerberg. Treasured nephew of Chris (Cathy), Kevin (Janine), Debbie (Scott), Bruce (Gerri) Sandie, Laura and Steve Cicholski, Justin (Summer), David and Shawn. Great nephew of Layne Hill. Taten will always be remembered by his many cousins, his best friend Esko Martinnen, school friends and many team mates. Friends are invited to visit at Northwood Funeral Home Cremation and Reception Centre (942 Great Northern Road 705-945-7758) on Friday evening from 5:00 p.m. to 8:00 p.m. A funeral service will be held on Saturday, February 6, 2016 at 11:00 a.m. with Rev. Nancy Ferguson officiating. To honour Taten, the family wishes to have memorial donations made to an education fund for his siblings (Marnie Holditch In Trust). A sincere thank you to Dr. Della Vedova, nurses Leah and Cheryl from BayShore, Taten's school family, his football and hockey coaches for all the love, kindness and compassion shown. It was remarkable to see how he was allowed to fit in no matter what Taten's medical needs were. Always up for playing his best no matter what and cheered on his teammates. He always put his heart and soul into all he did in life. For this we are truly blessed. Rest peacefully Taten.
