Obituary of Emilio Iacoe

Peacefully, surrounded by his family who he deeply loved, at the Sault Area Hospital on Thursday, February 04, 2016, Emilio Iacoe at the age of 89. Devoted husband, life time love and best friend of Annetta (nee Perri) for 67 years. Loving father of Maria Santelli (Frank Coccimiglio) and Enrico (Annelise). Proud nonno of Joe Santelli, Amy Strachan, Annetta Bacskai (Kevin) and Emilie Iacoe (Zack Kirk). Adored bis nonno to Olivia, Gabriel, Liam and Andrew. Son of the late Enrico and Maria Iacoe. Brother of Michele (Luisa), Orlando (Assunta), Erbina Bernardo (late Giovanni) and pre-deceased by Pasquale (late Adelina), Rosina Fiore (late Vincenzo), Carmella Giunti (late Antonio), Giovanni (Maria), Gennaro (Esterina) and Pietro (Adelina). Son-in-law of the late Pietro and Cecilia Perri. Brother-in-law of Orlando Perri (Matilda), Rose Perri (late Emilio Battiste). Loving uncle of many nieces and nephews. Emilio will be fondly remembered as a family man and an avid gardener who shared his crops with many. Family and friends are invited to visit at Northwood Funeral Home Cremation and Reception Centre (942 Great Northern Road 705-945-7758) on Sunday evening from 6:00 p.m. to 9:00 p.m. Funeral Mass at St. Gregory's on Monday, February 8, 2016 at 10:00 a.m. with Father Alex Saurianthadathil officiating. Entombment at Holy Sepulchre Cemetery Mausoleum. Memorial donations to SAH Critical Care Fund or Sault Ste. Marie Soup Kitchen would be appreciated by the family.
