Obituary of Hormidas LeBlanc

LEBLANC, Hormidas "Pete" - Passed away peacefully on Tuesday, February 16, 2016 in his 97th year, at ARCH. Loving husband to the late Therese LeBlanc (nee Pronovost). Loving father to Michael LeBlanc (Valerie), Suzanne LeBlanc and Ron LeBlanc (Norma). Cherished grandfather of Treena Roberts (Nathan), Serge LeBlanc, Matthew LeBlanc, Okalani LeBlanc-Markham, John Scott LeBlanc (Maureen), Scott Grasley (Ruth van Loon) and Brandon Grasley (Kerri). Cherished great grandfather of Conan, Sage, Keemi and Isabelle, Victoria, Sidney, Silas and Ezra. Loving uncle (mon oncle) to many wonderful nieces and nephews, and special friend to Raymond MacDonald. Predeceased by his parents Alfred and Lucienne (Limoges) LeBlanc, brother of Roland LeBlanc (Yvonne), Andy LeBlanc (Barbara) and predeceased by his siblings, Lucien LeBlanc (Vivian, Marlin), Jacques LeBlanc, Roger LeBlanc (Osra), Jacqueline St. Jacques (Paul), Jeanne D'Arc Raymond (Alex) and Raymond LeBlanc (Jeannette). Predeceased by his brothers and sisters-in-law Jean Pronovost, Mariette Pronovost, Maurice Pronovost (Jeanne), Isabelle Steele (Jack), Marguerite St. Jean (Gideon), Irene Audet (Henri) and Joseph Pronovost. Friends may call at Northwood Funeral Home Cremation and Reception Centre (942 Great Northern Road 705-945-7758) on Tuesday, February 23, 2016 from 11:00 a.m. to 12:00 noon. Funeral service in the Chapel at 12:30 p.m. with Father Jean-Pierre officiating. In lieu of flowers, memorial donations may be made to ARCH. Special thanks to the angels at ARCH for making Dad's last month so caring, comfortable and loving. We were so blessed to have him in our lives. Members of The Royal Canadian Legion, Branch 25 are requested to gather at Northwood Funeral Home Cremation and Reception Centre for a service at 12:30 p.m. At the going down of the sun And in the morning We will remember them.
