It is with heavy hearts we announce the passing of Richard at the Sault Area Hospital with family by his side on Sunday, April 17, 2016 at the age of 53. Dear husband of Laura for 19 years. Loving father of Brittany, Chelsey and Ashley (Chris). Cherished Poppy to Xander, Alyssa and Connor. Predeceased by his parents Roland and Beatrice Paquette. Dear brother of the late Danny (June), Lorraine (late Bill), Rita (late Charlie), Ralph (Bonnie), Julie (late Ralph), late Isidore, Roger (Mary), Leo (Cindy), Helen (Raymond), Noel (Louise) and Phillip. Son-in-law of Ed and the late Wilma Piaskoski. Brother-in-law of John (Vicky), Joseph and James (Pam). Richard will be fondly remembered by his many nieces and nephews. Friends are invited to visit at Northwood Funeral Home Cremation and Reception Centre (942 Great Northern Road 705-945-7758) on Friday, April 22, 2016 from 9:30 a.m. to 10:30 a.m. Funeral Mass to follow at St. Veronica's Church at 11:00 a.m. with Father Ron Ambeault officiating. Memorial donations to the SAH Critical Care Fund would be appreciated by the family. The Paquette family would like to thank their customers for their friendship and continued patronage for the past 17 years. A special thank you to the doctors and nurses for the exceptional care, compassion and dignity shown to Richard and our family.
