Peacefully at home on Wednesday, May 18, 2016 at the age of 91. Predeceased by his loving wife Mary (Nicky). Dear father of Patricia Gauthier (Gaston) of Mooretown, Lynda Savage (J.D.) of London, the late Johnny Davies, Robert Davies (Mary Beth) both of Sault Ste. Marie, Lorraine Davies (Rae) of London and Karen Perkins of Canton, MI. Cherished grandfather of 13. John is predeceased by his parents, brothers and sisters. He will be fondly remembered by his many nieces and nephews. Friends may visit at Northwood Funeral Home Cremation and Reception Centre (942 Great Northern Road 705-945-7758) on Friday, May 20, 2016 from 11:00 a.m. until time of funeral service in the Chapel at 1:00 p.m. with Mrs. Helen Smith officiating. Interment at Greenwood Cemetery. Memorial donations to the SAH Cancer Care Fund would be appreciated by the family.
