Obituary of Theodore Kobinski

It is with heavy hearts that the Kobinski family announce the peaceful passing of Ted at ARCH on Tuesday, May 24, 2016 at the age of 77. With the love of his life Janet (nee Vernelli) of 57 years by his side. Loving and respected Dad of Daria James (Peter), Christine Palaro (Michael) and Michael Kobinski (Brenda). Proud Papa of Christopher and Corey James, Kyle (Kristin) and Macy Palaro, Kurtis and Caleb Kobinski. Greatest Grandpa Ted to Haily and Blake Palaro. Predeceased by his parents Charles and Pauline Kobinski. Brother of Amy Andrews (Bill) and Valerie Lavery (Barry). Beloved son-in-law of the late Lola and late Jim Vernelli. Brother-in-law of the late Vince (late Judy), late Louisa (Dolly), Anthony (Marilyn), Mario (Julie), Willy (Jan) and Jimmy (Ann). Ted will be fondly remembered by his many nieces, nephews and friends. He was an active volunteer at the SAH and Heart and Stroke Foundation for many years and will be missed by all those he volunteered with and patients he served during his time. Friends may visit at Northwood Funeral Home Cremation and Reception Centre (942 Great Northern Road 705-945-7758) on Friday, May 27, 2016 from 11:00 a.m. to 12:30 p.m. Funeral Mass to follow at Precious Blood Cathedral at 1:00 p.m. with Father Hamish Currie officiating. Memorial donations to the SAH Foundation or ARCH would be appreciated by the family. A special thank you to the volunteers and staff at SAH, the staff at ARCH, CCAC, WeCare and BayShore for all the care given to Ted. "You never forgot what you were fighting for. We will miss you."
