Michael and family...sorry for being unable to attend the mass held for your mother for I had to work. Your mother was very special to our family as she was always a dear friend to my parents. I have many fond memories of her dropping by the house. We would run into each other often while visiting at the Davey Home. Her presence will be missed. But I have faith that all that love her whom have departed before her were waiting for her at the gates of heaven, happy to be reunited again! God Bless.

Denise and I would like to convey our deepest sympathy to Michael, Pam and the boys for their sad loss, but know the relief that you must feel now that Nuala is spared the suffering. Nuala was a wonderful individual and much more than just an Aunt to me, with her individual view on life, her caring nature and faith. I have some fond memories of the time I spent with her during her visit to the UK and Ireland in 2000 for the McClusky reunion. We had a great time and a lot of fun!! Nuala (Mrs Jalak) was like a second mother to me when we were growing up. I remember the walks to the bluffs out at camp, drives to the old bridge (with Mike on the roof of the car) and Nuala trying to pretend to be mad but secretly giggling. Nuala set the bar high as a parent with her positive energy; gentle ways and loving heart. Her memory will live on in my family as I try to emulate her spirit with my own children. Thank you Nuala and Mike for allowing me to share in your lives.

To Nuala's family: it seems not long ago I was leaving a message for Nuala on the occasion of the death of Eldur. I remember her from nursing days at the Plummer: she was always positive and delightful, regardless of the situation. I reconnected with her while Eldur was at the Davey Home and watched her quiet devotion to him. I am deeply sorry for your loss. Nuala was one of my mum's (Luella Ambeault nee Jones) closest friends - they met when nursing together. I have many happy memories of her visits during childhood - she had a delightful smile & laugh. I last saw her just over a year ago when she was visiting my Aunt Margaret in the hospital (mum's sister) - she shared her memories of nursing & of a lovely trip to Ireland she took not too long ago with family. She loved her family very fiercely. May memories of her bring you comfort- you were very lucky to have her in your life.
