Obituary of Lawrence Barber

Peacefully at the Sault Area Hospital on Saturday May 28, 2016. Best friend of Rhea Émond. Loving father of Marshall (Peggy), Cynthia McGugan (Neil), David (Joan), Maureen Barber Oswin (Dan), Christine Barber and Jason (Dalia). Proud Grandpa of Jennifer, Rebecca, Kathryn, Kyle, Jordan, Krista, Darlene, Jesse, Philip, Raymond and the late Celine. Great-grandfather of Grace, Isaac, Easton, Emerson, Lilyanna, Nolan and Emma. Predeceased by his parents Thomas and Elizabeth Barber (nee Pullen). Lawrence is survived by his sisters Pearl Hopson (late Howard) and Norine St. Peter. He will be fondly remembered by his nieces and nephews. Friends and family are invited to a Memorial Service at Christ Church (585 Allen's Side Road) on Thursday, June 2, 2016 at 11:00 a.m. with Pastor Rick Reed officiating. Inurnment will take place at St. Luke's Columbarium at a later date. Memorial donations to the Heart and Stroke Foundation or Christ Church Building Fund would be appreciated by the family.
