Passed away peacefully, surrounded by the love of her family, at the Sault Area Hospital on Tuesday, June 21, 2016 at the age of 70. Loving wife and best friend of Reynaldo "Rey" for 45 years. Cherished mother of Raymond (Shannon) and Melissa Maphis (Sean). Treasured Lola to Espen and Finley. Carm will be dearly remembered by her many nieces, nephews and cousins in Canada, U.S.A., the Philippines and by Carm's extended Filipino family. She was well known for her care and compassion given to so many patients in her 40 plus years of nursing. Friends and family are invited to visit at Northwood Funeral Home Cremation and Reception Centre on Friday evening from 4:00 p.m. to 8:00 p.m. Funeral Mass at St. Jerome Parish on Saturday, June 25, 2016 at 10:00 a.m. with Father Hamish Currie officiating. Memorial donations to the SAH Cancer Care Fund would be appreciated by the family. A very special thank you to the SAH staff in ICU.
