Obituary of Kevin Wessell

Please share a memory of Kevin to include in a keepsake book for family and friends.
Passed away peacefully at home, surrounded by the love of his family, on Monday, June 27, 2016 at the age of 43. Loving husband of Katie for 19 years. Cherished father of Jeanette and Natalie. Beloved son of Rod and Nora Wessell and Stan and Annette Fischer. Brother-in-law of Michael Fischer (Mary) and Gayle Garside (Lyn). Nephew of Lesley Stimson (late Adrian), Jim Garrett, late Frank Garrett, Ingram Wessell (Isabelle) and the late Don Wessell (Marg). Kevin will be fondly remembered by his many cousins, especially Harold (Karen) and his many friends. Kevin loved enjoying time at camp in Chapleau. He spent many happy years employed by the City of Sault Ste. Marie, working at the family construction company and processing firewood with wife Katie. Family and friends are invited to visit at Northwood Funeral Home Cremation and Reception Centre (942 Great Northern Road 705-945-7758) on Friday, July 1, 2016 from 11:00 a.m. until 2:00 p.m. Memorial service to follow in the Chapel at 2:30 p.m. with Mr. Jim Tulloch officiating. Memorial donations to the Crohn's and Colitis Foundation of Canada or the Canadian Cancer Society would be appreciated by the family. Kevin fought a long hard battle. We were supported in so many ways by our family, friends, community and co-workers during his illness and can't thank each and every one of you enough.
