HOFMANN, Werner - Werner passed peacefully in the comfort of his home, surrounded by family, on Tuesday, June 28, 2016 at the age of 84. Loving husband of Lotte. Dear father of Iris Shields (George), Irene Alexander, Peter Hofmann (Theresa Vezina) and Roland Hofmann (Debbie). Cherished Opa of Jenna, Deanna, Wyatt and John Shields, Vaughn, Devin, Karen, Kristin and Kailtin Alexander, Ella, Sarah and Brandon Hofmann. Werner's journey started in Stuttgart, Germany and life's adventures brought him to Sault Ste. Marie where he was devoted to his family and his career as a millwright. At Werner's request, a private family service will be held. Memorial donations to Princess Margaret Hospital would be appreciated by the family.
