Obituary of Emilia Rende

It is with profound sadness that we announce the passing of Emilia "Eugenia" Rende at the age of 91 on Sunday, July 17, 2016 at the Sault Area Hospital surrounded by her children and grandchildren. Emilia was a loving wife to the late Paolino for 54 years. She was the loving mother of Frank (Angela), Lina Cavaliere (Gino) and Rosemary Calcafuoco (John). Nonna to Paul Rende (Natasha), Jennifer Stocco (Tom), Jessica DiPietto (Fabrizio), Nick Cavaliere (Shelley), Sergio Cavaliere (Maxine), Adam Calcafuoco (Lyndsay), Brian Calcafuoco and Mark Calcafuoco. Proud great nonna to Michaela and Paolo Rende, Luca and Noah Stocco, Adriana and Emilia DiPietto, Riley Walker, Allesandro and Gianna Cavaliere and Rachel and Aubrey Calcafuoco. Daughter of the late Lorenzo Pucci and late Maria Palermo. Sister of the late Rosaria Bernardo (late Francesco), late Carmela Lepore (late Lorenzo), late Saverio Pucci (Raffaela), late Francesco Pucci (Antonietta), late Enrico Pucci (Lilliana and the late Maria). Daughter-in-law to the late Angela and Giovanni Rende. Sister-in-law to the late Nicola (late Pasqualina), the late Antonio (late Anna), the late Maria Mattalo (late Frank), the late Rosina Rende and the late Vicenzina Brunone (late Alberto). Cherished aunt to many nieces and nephews; Emilia had a special place in her heart for Carmen and Franca Lepore. Friends and family may call at Northwood Funeral Home Cremation and Reception Centre (942 Great Northern Road 705-945-7758) on Wednesday evening from 6:00 p.m. to 9:00 p.m. Funeral mass at St. Veronica's Church on Thursday, July 21, 2016 at 11:00 a.m. with Father Ron Ambeault officiating. Entombment at Holy Sepulchre Cemetery Mausoleum. Memorial contributions to the SAH Renal Dialysis Care Fund would be appreciated by the family.
