Obituary of Dirk Becker

BECKER, Dirk Rutger M. - Passed away peacefully at Extendicare Maple View on Thursday, July 21, 2016 in his 88th year. Beloved husband of Elizabeth "Betty" and the late Nora Maude. Dear father of Terry, Dennis (Sylvia), Rutger (Janet), Paul (friend Mem) and Dirk. Stepfather to Robert Johnston, David Johnston (Brenda) and Carol Johnston. Uncle to Ken Romyn (Jackie). Opa to Meghan (Rob), Kyla, Erin (Jordy), Meghan, Christopher, Mathew, Delti, Tara (Dustin), Stephanie (Ryan), Kenneth (Becca), Sarah, Dirk III, Elizabeth, Heather, David, Leah (Lexton), Jean (Alex), Krista (Brian), Meghan and D.J. Great Opa of 13. Brother to the late Poppy (late Henry), late Case (late Rene), late Bernardus (late Edert). Dirk will be remembered by his brother Rutger of Holland. Brother-in-law of Edna Dimma (Lowell). He will be fondly remembered by his many nieces and nephews. Friends may visit at Northwood Funeral Home Cremation and Reception Centre (942 Great Northern Road 705-945-7758) on Tuesday, July 26, 2016 from 11:00 a.m. until 12:00 noon. Memorial donations to Maple View Nursing Home or the Canadian Cancer Society would be appreciated.
