Obituary of Perry Cushner

CUSHNER, Perry Joseph- It is with heavy hearts we announce the passing of Perry at ARCH on Sunday, August 7, 2016 after a seven year battle with Parkinsons and MSA at the age of 57. Best friend and soulmate of Susan (nee Bronicheski). Loving and very proud father of Tyler (Bianca), Travis and Dean. Loving son of Dorothy and Peter Cushner of North Bay. Brother of Cathy (Jean) Bourbonnais of North Bay and Cindy Dobbs (Todd) of Arizona. Special son-in-law of Victoria (late Stan) Bronicheski. Brother-in-law of John (Gayanne), MaryAnn (Gary) Dutchak, Michael, Stan (Noella) and Cheryl O'Brien (late Barry). Greatest uncle to many nieces and nephews. Perry will always be fondly remembered for his wonderful passion for good laughs, fishing, hunting and believe it or not working as a mechanic (a job he loved). Smile when you think of him. A memorial mass will be held at St. Gerard Majella Church (211 Pentagon) on Tuesday, August 9, 2016 at 11:00 a.m. with Father Francis Ezenezi officiating. Memorial donations to ARCH or St. Gerard Majella Building Fund would be appreciated by the family. Special thanks to Dr. Chow, Dr. Walde, Rita Mannarino, Bayshore nurses and CCAC. Also special thanks to all the care providers who were in our home over the four years, especially Steve, Mandy and Donna. To the awesome staff at ARCH words can never express how grateful we are for the excellent care shown to Perry. A special thanks to all the family and friends that offered support in many different ways during this difficult journey.
