Obituary of Neil Rose

With deep sadness and sorrow the family of Neil Rose announces his passing on Saturday, August 27, 2016 at the age of 88. Beloved husband and best friend of Aura-Lee Rose (nee Bishop) for 62 years. Dear dad of Bonnie Thorpe (Bob), Tim Rose (Lori) and Kathy Rose. Proud grandpa of Micheal Rose, Chanda and Chantal Rose, Wes Hill (Rachel) and Ashlee Biasucci (Carlo). Great Grandpa of Claire, Lyla and Allison. Son of the late John W. Rose and Irene Thorne. Brother of Dorothy Harrison (late Bert), late John Rose (late Mary), Norman Rose (Betty), late Bill (Jean), June Gutcher (late Cliff), Joan Kennis (late Bob), late Wanda Chikoski (Walter), Roma Barber (late George), Howard Rose (Harriet), Margaret Rayner (Ted), and Raymond Thorne (Bev). Son-in-law of the late Cyrus and Cassie Bishop. As Shelly said, "he was a good man and didn't deserve what he went through.", and we as his family knew that to be very true. Rest in peace Neil. We will always love you and miss you very much. In keeping with Neil's wishes, cremation has taken place. Friends and family are invited to visit at Northwood Funeral Home Cremation and Reception Centre (942 Great Northern Road, 705-945-7758) on Wednesday, August 31, 2016 from 6:00 p.m. until 8:00 p.m. Memorial donation to Sault Area Hospital ICU would be appreciated by the family. Our family gives thanks to the Doctors and nursing staff of ICU and 3C for their excellent care and concern towards Neil.
