Obituary of Gloria Slater

SLATER, Gloria 'Dorry' - Passed away peacefully at home on Thursday, December 10, 2009 surrounded by family; Gloria 'Dorry' Slater succumbed to her illness at the age of 57 years. She is sadly missed by her loving husband Garry and children Cathy (Jeff), Scott (Michelle) and Brad (Rita). Never forgotten by her grandchildren Zachary, Katrina, Mikayla and Kyle and step-granchildren Kianna, Hannah and Aariana. Beloved daughter of Geraldine 'Gerry' and the late Floyd King. Daughter-in-law of Ann and the late Arthur Slater. Sister of Linda (Jerry), Bob (Bonnie) and Sharon (Will). Sister-in-law of Sharon (Gary), Roger (Gail), Sandra and Mary (Dan). Aunt and great-aunt to many nieces and nephews. Friends and family are invited to visit at Northwood Funeral Home & Cremation Services (942 Great Northern Road 945-7758) on Monday, December 14, 2009 from 11 a.m. until time of funeral and committal service in the Chapel at 1 p.m. Memorial donations made to the Sault Area Hospital - Cancer Care Fund or A.R.C.H. would be appreciated by the family.
