VINCENT, Hilda - After a long illness, it is with great sadness that we announce the passing of our beautiful mother on Saturday, January 9, 2010 at the age of 85 years. Dearly beloved mother of Doreen Buijs (John, Sharon O'Niel (Peter), Mike Ross (Wendy), Elaine DiMichele (John), Linda Belanger (Ken), Peggy Barnes (Bruce), Donna Tucker (Blaine), Bob Vincent, Wayne Vincent (Traci) and June Vincent (Jerry). Great grandmother of 32. Special grandmother of 22. In keeping with Mom's wishes a private family service was held at Northwood Funeral Home & Cremation Services (942 Great Northern Road 945-7758) on Thursday, January 14, 2010 with long time friend Pastor Fred Norlin officiating. Memorial donations made to the Crohns & Colitis Foundation would be greatly appreciated. Hilda's family wishes to express our gratitude to Dr. Fera, nurses and staff of 200Y and 200A at the General Hospital. Thank you also to the 3rd floor nurses and staff of the Plummer Hospital. You were truly amazing. Your kindness and compassion are greatly appreciated. Thank you Mom for being so strong while trying to teach us right from wrong. Thank you Mom for your sweet love.
