Emma Edith Humphreys Cowin Judson March 5, 1929 - January 24, 2010 It is with deep sadness and regret that Emma Judson passed away peacefully with family by her side. Predeceased by her husband John Dowson Judson. She leaves behind her beloved children Fran Paterson (John), Paul (Maria), David (Carolyn) and Marie Gibbon. She also leaves behind her cherished grandchildren Shannon MacPherson (Allan Fisher), Troy Paterson (Jasmine Hemsworth), Devin Judson, Jon Gibbon (Tara Hyndman), Nathan Judson, treasured great grandchildren Liam and Emma MacPherson. Special nana to Meghan Fisher and Glen, Laurie, Justin and Joel Nisbett. A 'special' thank you to all the caring nurses and staff at the palliative care unit at the Plummer Hospital and the nursing staff at the General Hospital. There will be an Open House on Tuesday, January 26, from 2:00 - 8:00 p.m. at 12 Arthur Street in celebration of Emma's life. In lieu of flowers, the family asks that you give your donations to the Algoma Residential Community Hospice (ARCH 942-1556) or a charity of your choice.
