Obituary of Hilda Vaillancourt

VAILLANCOURT, HILDA MARY - died peacefully and surrounded by her family on February 13, 2010. Loving wife to her devoted husband Wilfred. Much loved mother of Kathy Palombi (Augusto), Betty Oliver (Mike) and Paul Vaillancourt (Terri). Proud grandmother of Katie, Mark, Andrea, Matt, Ben and Tim. Daughter of the late Will and Kate Meraw. Survived by her sisters Wilma (late Leonard Cassidy and the late Don Hughes) and Mary of Tweed, Ontario and predeceased by Frances. Sister-in-law of the late Dr. James and Helen McGoey of Winnipeg. Hilda enjoyed many years as a dedicated Kindergarten teacher with the Catholic School Board. A Funeral Mass will be celebrated on Tuesday, February 16,, 2010 at 11 a.m. at Our Lady of Good Counsel Church. Reverend Michael Williams officiating. Interment Holy Sepulchre Cemetery. Memorial donations to the Van Daele Resident's Council would be appreciated by the family.
